KOKOY F. GUEVARA was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. In 2010, he graduated from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he was a Teaching-Writing fellow. He published two chapbook-length interview for the DLSU Publishing House’s Critics in Conversation series in 2014 and 2015. One is with the conceptual poet Kenneth Goldsmith and the other with renowned Derek Attridge. His poems and prose have appeared in Ecolinguistics, The Offending Adam, Jacket 2, Cordite Poetry Review, High Chair, and Words Without Borders. He taught for the literature department at De La Salle University. His first poetry collection, The Reddest Herring was released in November 2015.
